Default Is it normal for (hopefully real) Diamond rings that are 18k gold to be...

...marked TAIWAN? I have a ring that was my mothers, I thought it was her old engagement ring, however on the inside of theband across from the 18k it says TAIWAN. Is this normal? I don't even know if it's a diamond and trying to figure it out...

Well I hope for your sake it is. But if not.. it's still kind of cute. Kind of makes you think to the "just for now" kind of deal. What it was like to be young, broke, and in love right ?!

Sentimental value, is far more valuable than real diamonds. You don't take those things to the other side. You take your memories!
Good luck on your quest !
