My boyfriend gave me this really nice cross necklace for christmas that I love, but we just broke up. I don't think he wants it back, we're still friends, but we still see each other a lot. Anyone had this, and what did you do? Keep it, hide it, wear it, throw it away?

if you love it wear it. if it reminds you of him though i say sell it. i kept a ring that an ex gave me for five years just because i still loved him very much the day i got rid of it i knew that the hurt of losing him was gone.

It sounds like a really nice necklace and it was a Christmas gift to you from him.........I seriously doubt that he gave it to you with the intention that if you broke up, you would have to return it or quit wearing it. If it was me, I'd continue wearing it. Wearing it certainly doesn't mean you're not over him or you're wanting to get back together with him. It just means you really like the necklace!

Why wouldn't you want to keep it? You said you love it & it was given to you as a present so if i were you i'd be wearing it. I've never felt that i shouldn't wear something i love just because the relationship ended because if you think about it it was given to you with love at the time.
